Open Call for Applications for the 5th Annual Rising Black Scientists Awards

We are excited to announce the opening of the application cycle for the 5th annual Rising Black Scientists Awards essay competition. This contest is open to early career researchers across all scientific disciplines featured in Cell Press publications (Life, Health, Earth and Environmental, Data, and Physical sciences).

In collaboration with Cell Press and Cell Signaling Technology, we are committed to empowering and supporting talented and motivated young Black scientists on their continuing journey through their scientific career. The awards program serves as a catalyst to lower barriers and create opportunities by offering financial support for professional development.

We invite applications from early career aspiring Black scientists and researchers, ranging from undergraduate students to those pursuing postgraduate training, at institutions within the United States. Four outstanding awardees and four honorable mentions will be recognized.
